BY ONE CHART
By one chart
We read the timing of the tides,
By another we know sunrise, sunset,
The changing face of moon.
By one schedule
We know the ferry (approximately),
By another
We know Alaska Airlines (if nothing goes wrong).
By daylight
We see all that is,
By night
We remember what we have seen,
We anticipate what is promised.
But look,
Whether day OR night!
Look for Jesus with open heart!
He came once in dark of night.
He comes again,
Somewhere, somehow.
But every day, every hour,
He is with us now,
Emmanuel,
Love to us,
Love through us,
Love in us,
Love made most real
