DAYLIGHT
Daylight breaks
With canopy of cloud
Dimming light
Swallowing shadow with shadow.
On the trail
Canopy of green
Softens light
Where it thrives.
Gospel breaks
With canopy of love,
Permeating thickest fear
With hope,
Swallowing doubt with faith,
The candle in our heart.
